White River Clean-Up

Each year Morgan County Partnership for Water Quality hosts a community clean up along the Morgan County, Indiana section of the White River–and it continues to grow thanks to the incredible support of our volunteers.

People of all ages come together to make a real impact. Each year, volunteers remove an impressive amount of debris–filling a 15-yard dumpster and hauling away a trailer full of discarded tires. It’s a hands-on way to protect our waterways and take pride in our community.

Our efforts extend beyond just one location. Volunteer groups help clean areas throughout the county including Three Rivers S.R.A., Henderson Ford Boat Ramp, Paragon Boat Ramp, and the boat ramp in Old Town Waverly Park!

As a thank you for a rewarding morning of giving back, volunteers in the past have been treated to various local businesses such as Mr. Gatti’s for lunch or Breakfast by Sara’s Goodies and a free t-shirt.

We encourage everyone to register in advance so we can plan accordingly, provide the right supplies, and make sure there are enough t-shirts for all. Every volunteer truly make a difference, and we’d love to have you be part of this effort to keep Morgan County and the White River beautiful.
